Mr Armstrong has worked for University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust since 2010.
He is a general surgeon with a special interest in liver, pancreatic, biliary, gallbladder and hernia surgery. Mr Armstrong is part of a team of five surgeons who provide a regional service to patients in Hampshire, Dorset and the Channel Islands.
