FUNDRAISING FOR A CURE
Donating is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with us and we will never sell them
Well done to Hannah Edwards and her team of triathletes who completed the Bucklers Hard Triathlon on 8th July in tough, super hot conditions raising over £3000 for PLANETS! Hannah and friends have supported PLANETS in memory of Hannah’s lovely Mum, Elizabeth.
Hannah’s brother, Wille, and his band Wille and the Bandits have also got involved with the charity recently, joining forces with Dan Owen and Show of Hands to organise a fundraising gig for PLANETS in June. Over £2000 was raised from ticket sales and an incredible night was had by all.
Neil Pearce, who looked after Wille and Hannah’s Mum commented ‘Elizabeth Edwards was one of my milestone career defining patients who inspired me and the surgical team to push the boundaries and go the extra mile to try and help her to win the fight against cancer.’ It was sadly not to be but Elizabeth is fondly remembered by the PLANETS medical team and we are very touched that both Hannah and her brother Wille have chosen to support us recently.
Thank you to everyone involved!
