Ruth Lee
Neuroendocrine Oncology Dietician
Ruth trained to be a dietitian on the postgraduate course at Chester University. She then worked in Warrington and Chester for a couple of years before moving back home to London to work at The Royal Free hospital. Here she gained experience in a range of dietetic specialities including surgery, renal and hepatology/liver transplant. As The Royal Free hospital is an ENETS Centre of Excellence with an established dietetic service, she also gained some experience in working with NET patients.
Relocation to Dorset meant that when the Wessex NET dietitian role came up it was an exciting opportunity to set up a new service and work in such an emerging area of dietetics. Ruth works alongside the specialist teams across the Wessex area to provide a dietetic service to NET patients.
